TechDiscountBar (techdiscountbar.com) is operated by Juni Communication & Production Oy, Kankurinkatu 6, 00150 Helsinki, Finland. This page explains how the site makes money and the limits of the information we publish.
Affiliate links and commissions
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to the Tapo store featured in our smart lock guide. If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or an affiliate network. You do not pay anything extra as a result. Buttons such as “Check the price at Tapo” or “View the Tapo DL130” take you to a third-party store.
This site is therefore commercial. Commissions help fund our research and writing. We aim to recommend products based on how well they meet the needs described in each guide, and we are not paid by manufacturers to include a product or to rank it in a particular position.
Prices and availability
Prices, promotions, stock levels and product specifications are controlled by the retailer and manufacturer and can change at any time without notice. Any price mentioned on this site is the price shown at the time of writing. Please check the current price, availability, shipping costs and terms on the retailer’s website before you buy.
No hands-on lab testing unless stated
Our guides are based on desk research: manufacturer specifications, manuals, support pages and what owners commonly report. Unless an article clearly says otherwise, we have not carried out laboratory testing, and any performance figures we quote, such as battery life, are the manufacturer’s own figures.
General information only
Content on this site is provided for general information and does not constitute professional advice. Security products in particular should be chosen and installed with care; check compatibility with your door and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, or consult a qualified locksmith if you are unsure.
Trademarks
Tapo, TP-Link and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. TechDiscountBar is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by these companies.
